This was what Zhao En told me:
"i like the neil gaiman quote abt hating love-
Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life... You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love."
You experience love, you experience pain. That's the package. Sadly, it's no big present with a ribbon on it. There may be bliss at first. When you're in love, you may feel like no one else can ever ruin anything, but the only person that can actually ruin everything is you and your loved one.
You feel love, you feel happiness, you feel like never before. But all it takes is just one word, or a few words, to end everything.
That momentary happiness that you felt before may as if be never ever felt again, and you feel like dying.
For when it hurts, it hurts deep within, penetrating through every barrier you create, pushing down that tower of trust and love you both created. Like dominoes, everything will fall, and you'll be back to where you started, without a relationship, without love.
But believe in this. Eventually, you'll find true love, that will not be figments of your imagination. All that you have hurt before will be healed. That deep gash, that broken heart, will be stitched and pieced back into one whole.
There's a difference between true love and love.
There's a difference between wanting and needing.
There's a difference between everything and anything.
There's a difference between you and me.
When true love comes, that's when the real thing's started.
And this is his PM: "If a relationship could hurt you that much, then it must also have brought you that much joy."
And i totally agree with it.
